Beaver Run Cafe

Beaver Run Cafe is a bittersweet comedy about a young woman's search for meaning. Through the eccentricities and kindness of the townspeople, she discovers that connections are destined to be forged in unexpected places. The film weaves flashbacks into present day events and beautifully creates a vision of hope.

Beaver Run Cafe has been selected to premier at The 28th San Francisco International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival! The premier will be held on Friday, June 18, 2004 at 6pm at the Roxie Cinema in San Francisco.

Project Pioneer

Project Pioneer 2880 - Script to DVD in 48 hours. Pioneer Electronics presented an extreme DVD making competition. Film students from top filmmaking universities in the U.S.A. and Canada were chosen to create 10-minute shorts all within 48 hours (2880 minutes).

HBO's Project Green Light winner, Pete Jones created a one paragraph scenario and each student team had to create a script, recruit a cast, scout locations, shoot, and edit the footage. Then author a full featured 16:9 DVD, including behind the scenes footage, within the required 48 hour time frame.

With a tight deadline, shoe-string budget, non-stop action and commitment to high quality in every aspect of movie making our group at the Academy of Art College made a National award winning narrative, five thousand dollars; giving us momentum to keep creative ideas alive.
